MaiorDesconto was a Brazilian group-buying marketplace inspired by early platforms like Groupon. The site connected local businesses with consumers through time-limited, collective discount offers. The platform scaled to 41,000+ registered users, 17,000 paying customers, and $700K+ in gross sales, operating entirely as a bootstrapped business.

Role & scope: Founder and sole engineer. Built the platform in Ruby on Rails and handled the full product lifecycle: system architecture, payment gateway integration, deal management, email marketing, customer support tooling, and day-to-day business operations.
